The Arkansas Biosciences Institute at A-State is a cutting-edge research facility with experiments that range from developing the rice varieties that will feed the planet in the future to growing nerve cells on nano-engineered surfaces aimed to heal spinal cord injuries.
Bradbury Art Museum is a contemporary art facility on campus that features changing exhibitions of contemporary art in all media with programming that promotes the understanding of art and its significance to society.
Ready to Answer the Call
A-State is home to the Red Wolf Battalion with a proud 85-year history of producing top quality leaders who have gone on to hold high paying jobs, public office, and high-ranking military positions.
The Regional Center for Disaster Preparedness Education was created in 2005 in response to an unmet need for disaster education within the health professions. We offer courses in basic and advanced disaster life support, homeland security, and emergency management.
Building a Firm Foundation
Engineering students at A-State pour a campus sidewalk made of reclaimed fly ash retrieved from an old landfill. They are assessing alternative sources as supplemental cement-like materials in a sustainable manner. The study looks to repurpose waste and reduce the demand of producing cement.
Neil Griffin College of Business students have won thousands of dollars in the prestigious Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup collegiate business plan competition.
Finding the Right Mix
The Department of Creative Media Production maintains a strong, enduring relationship with ESPN. This connection means that you have the opportunity to work side-by-side with broadcast professionals to produce nationally-televised ESPN sporting events.
Students in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at A-State study a variety of subjects, ranging from food & nutrition, foodservice systems management, psychology, sociology & communication, to science courses such as anatomy & physiology, chemistry & biology.
